Cosi Chair Tilt in Space

Tilt-in-Space (TIS): The TIS action has been developed to maximize support of the back, shoulder and hip angle of the individual throughout motion, the mechanism maintains the same angle at the seat and the backrest as you recline ensuring maximum comfort and the reduction of shear; shear is caused by the skin being pulled in opposite directions  it also offers a high leg extension and increased vertical lift position which has numerous health benefits as this position can help improve circulation and help with fluid drainage on swollen legs. Clever design made easy; . Tilt-in-Space is the most commonly prescribed chair mechanism and recommended by the Medical profession.
